This little $1.99 brush was made with accessibility in mind; I want every artist (especially newer designers who are just starting to share their work) to have an easy tool for adding a quick watermark grid before sharing with the world. It’s super simple to use: just download the file, tap it to open on your iPad, and it’ll open up right into your Procreate brush library.
To use it, adjust the brush size to whatever scale you want the grid to be, then brush over the top of your artwork before you export your display image. Adjust the opacity and/or blending modes to work best for your artwork. It adds that subtle “please don’t steal this” layer without distracting too much from your actual design.
Just a small note: make sure to remove the grid layer before exporting your final artwork file for Spoonflower, Etsy uploads, or anything meant for production. This brush is only for covering your work in display images, thumbnails, and social posts to prevent art thieves from reproducing your artwork.
