I’m Sarah Caldwell, the illustrator and surface pattern designer behind Bark & Blossom Studio. I live in Indianapolis with my husband, our two kids, a couple of dogs, and a few cats who like to keep me company while I paint.

I’m a wife, mom, and believer — and those parts of my life shape everything I create. My designs often begin in the ordinary moments: a walk through the garden, a quiet morning light, a child’s treasures. I love translating those small, everyday bits of whimsy into patterns that feel warm, timeless, and rooted in nature.
