I’m Sarah Caldwell, the illustrator and surface designer behind Bark & Blossom Design Studio. I create story-driven artwork and cohesive collections for children’s products, fabric, and home goods, with a focus on designs that feel playful, timeless, and easy to live with.

My work is often inspired by the quiet beauty of everyday life — a walk through the garden, a child’s treasured keepsake, the softness of morning light, or the small details that make a home feel warm and lived in. I love translating those moments into artwork that feels whimsical, thoughtful, and rooted in story.

I live in Indianapolis with my husband, our two kids, and a house full of animals, and I bring that same sense of warmth, wonder, and real life into everything I create.
